Service Department

Our shop is fully equipped to service anything pedal-powered, from simple adjustments to full tune-ups; parts replacement to full overhauls; wheel builds and complete restorations to simple accessory installation. We specialize in “European-style” city bicycles of course, with enclosed drive trains, internally-geared hubs, generator lighting, and hub brakes, but will gladly service anything with pedals.

We can transform your existing road or off-road bicycle into a much more utilitarian machine by installing racks, fenders, lights, or an upgraded wheel set with dynamo and internal gear hub.

Bring in your antique bicycle as well, for service or restoration. Estimates are always free. Our expert mechanic Josh, is passionate about practical bicycles. And if you have an olde British or Dutch cycle in need of service, don’t hesitate to bring it in, as Josh has quite an infatuation with the olde iron, and both show no signs of fading out anytime soon.

Frame Repairs & Modifications:

Hot and cold frame repairs on any steel bicycle. Frame alignment, tube replacement, dent repair, crash damage, rack and fender mounts, brake mounts, fork ends and dropouts, rust repair, braze-ons added, etc. Some photos of previous work completed here.

Custom Steel Racks:

Made entirely in-house out of US-made cromoly steel by our Mechanic Josh. We can make a rack to suit any bicycle and any need, from touring use to child-carrier attachments, or urban delivery to trekking applications. Older BOB trailers modified to fit larger wheel sizes also, for less than the cost of a new trailer. Rack prices generally start at 165 dollars.

Custom Bicycles:

We specialize in customized bicycles to suit each Individual, weather it’s a simple swap of components and drivetrain, or a complete custom frame and fork made in-house with USA-made steel. No two people are alike and we will gladly build or modify to suit personal tastes or needs.
