The Bakfiets encompasses it all: it’s a great family bike, child transport bike, errand bike and utility bike. The box and bike are designed so it’s light on handling, yet extremely stable. It’s tough construction has all the bells and whistles of a high-end Dutch city bike: chain guard, an up-right riding position, coat protectors and flat pedals for everyday shoes. With the Cargo bike Long you can carry six bags of groceries, a couple of large dogs, three kids or two kids and a baby seat!

The Cargo bike has a wide, stable parking stand that makes it virtually impossible to knock over. Kids can safely climb in and out of the box. Unlike having the kids in a pull-cart, now you can see and talk to them while you ride. Kids love it as they get to enjoy the scenery. Like our other Dutch bikes, our Cargo bike is a considerable upgrade from the standard specs—it has an anti-corrosion primer layer and the best gear system, wheels, tires, lighting and adjustable saddle of all our models. Plus, this Dutch bike comes in different colors.
